Oxford Bibliographies Online is a series of selective, discipline-focused, online guides to the essential literature in subjects in the humanities and social sciences, as identified by editors and editorial boards selected by the Oxford University Press. Encyclopedia of Religion

Online version of Encyclopedia of Religion, 2nd ed., published in print in 2005. It includes almost all the original 2,750 entries (many updated) from the first edition edited by Mircea Eliade and published in 1987 plus almost 600 new articles. It covers almost all topics on the world's religions including Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, new religious movements, ethics, feminist theology, ecology and religion, gender and religion, politics and religion, science and religion, art and religion, and film and religion. It is considered the standard English language resource in the field.

Pluralism Project

An ongoing research effort, the Pluralism Project studies and interprets religious diversity and interfaith relations in the United States. The site includes an introduction to the religions of the world through the lens of America, a survey of the interfaith encounter in America, news, the case initiative-  applying the case method to study dilemmas and disputes in multireligious America, and more.

Fo jing san lun (Three Treatises of the Buddhist Canon)

This database allows searching of the text of three Chinese Buddhist works, the Zhong lun, Shi er men lun and Bai lun. The results page provides the sentence in which the search term appears, along with a citation. Surrounding paragraphs may be viewed by scrolling through, but the database is not designed for convenient reading of full text. Results may be printed or saved.

Bibliography of Asian Studies

The Bibliography of Asian Studies is the most comprehensive Western-language bibliographical database for research on East, Southeast and South Asia. It covers all subjects with an emphasis on the humanities and social sciences.Coverage primarily from 1971 to the present.
