PILOTS Database

PILOTS is an interdisciplinary bibliographical database of over 22,000 entries covering published international literature on traumatic stress.Most entries include abstracts. It is produced at the headquarters of the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in White River Junction,Vermont. Although sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the PILOTS database is not limited to literature on PTSD among veterans. Its goal is to include citations to all literature on PTSD and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations. The database includes citations and abstracts to journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, and government documents. It does not include citations to newspaper articles, book reviews, or case law.
