Access to Online Resources

Use Harvard Library as an Alum describes online resources licensed for alum use.  The resources include ATLASerials (full-text scholarly journals in the field of religion), JSTOR, Oxford English Dictionary, Project Muse, and Sage journals.

Research help is available! Connect with a subject expert to work on any research-related question, problem, or skill.

Borrowing

All Harvard alums are eligible to apply for a borrowing card at no charge.  

Visiting Harvard Divinity School Library

Sign our visitor log and present a photo ID.   Or, use your borrowing card to enter.

Building Access

Harvard Divinity School is currently open to Harvard ID holders. Visitors wishing to use the library should call the circulation desk, where a staff member will come to unlock the main entrance and escort you inside. All visitors must enter through the main doors of Swartz Hall.
